Boogie Down Productions - By All Means Necessary

May 6, 2008 at 9:59 pm (1988) ()

The second album from KRS and BDP, famous for KRS’s depiction of Malcolm X standing by his window, holding a machine gun, and protecting himself from those who wished to take his life. Oh, there’s some pretty good songs on the album, too.

Souls of Mischief - 93 ‘Til Infinity

May 6, 2008 at 9:19 pm (1993) ()

Your third post of the night is an album from 1993 that most you should be familiar with. The cover is pretty boring and quality of the source material wasn’t that great, but it’s a hell of a lot better than the stuff I found online.

9th Wonder & Buckshot - The Formula

May 6, 2008 at 4:18 pm (2008) ()

Okay, so I took a four day break and left you guys hanging for a while. You’ll live. The first of five posts today is 9th Wonder & Buckshot’s newest drop, The Formula. Although I liked Duck Down’s comic book style covers–you’ll see the cover for 9th and Buck’s Chemistry today, too–this one really does it for me.

Taking a Three Day Weekend

May 3, 2008 at 2:58 pm (Blog News)

As you may have noticed, I didn’t put up a post yesterday, and I won’t today or tomorrow, either. This is because I’m swamped by family and school commitments. The next post –the next four posts, actually–will be up on Monday. I promise.

P.S. This would be the time to make any requests.
